Google has teased the Pixel 4a's release for months. On August 3, it made a big announcement. This midrange phone will launch at $349. It is $50 cheaper than 2020 iPhone SE.
The Pixel 4a is expected to have a display with rounded corners and the same 12-megapixel rear camera found on the Pixel 4. The Pixel 4a will likely run on a Snapdragon 730 that is a bit old, but still have 6GB of RAM with up to 128GB storage.
The Pixel 4a's camera will feature the same Pixel tricks you find in the flagship version, including Super Res Zoom. Live HDR+ is also available, as are Dual Exposure sliders. It means you can capture images even in low light, and without compromising on image quality.
As for the design, it looks like Google will continue its minimalist aesthetic even on this model, with a plastic body defined by smooth lines and gentle curves. One nice touch is the pop of color that appears on its power button.
