The Kia Forte is comfortable and offers plenty of storage space. You can haul large items without having to sacrifice your rear legroom or seat position.
Its interior is clean and attractive, with a well-designed layout that includes spacious front seats and rear seat space. The available infotainment system has a responsive touch screen with intuitive controls and makes it easy to customize and access key features.
Exterior: The Forte is a blend of Kia’s Stinger-inspired styling and more traditional, conservative looks. Its sleek profile, narrowed hood, and low roofline make it easier to see outside the car while driving.
The compact sedan can be ordered in FE or LXS trims. The base model includes a 2.0 liter four-cylinder engine producing 147 horsepower. It's capable of reaching 60 mph in 8.7 seconds.
Performance-minded people will appreciate the standard Forte GT's 1.6-liter turbocharged fourcylinder with 201-hp. Although it does not have the same power output as the Honda Civic Si it is still a welcome addition to the Forte's power.
The Forte's driving performance is excellent. It can be driven well. Upper-trim models have a three-mode steering system, which allows you to adjust the effort required to maneuver traffic.
Safety: The Kia Forte offers a solid range of active safety features including forward collision warning with automated emergency braking, smart cruise control, and lane keep assist. Driver comfort. The Forte can comfortably hold a 6-foot passenger. It's also one of most spacious compact sedans its size.
Ride: The Forte may not be as smooth on cracked pavement as other vehicles in its category. Its standard suspension may feel bumpy when driving on uneven roads.
It's not as exciting to drive as the Civic Si, but the Forte's engine and dual-clutch transmission are more than adequate for everyday driving.

Forte introduces two new special edition versions for 2020: the FE GT Special Edition, and the EX Special Edition. Each version offers a number of unique features including two-tone red leatherette upholstery as well as an upgrade to the infotainment systems. The EX Special Edition includes a gloss black spoiler, and a power sunroof. It also features a premium audio system with 10 speakers and a wireless charging pad.
