MIT Technology Review has launched a podcast series which will focus on topics that are important to enterprise decision makers. The podcast is called The Business Lab. The 30-minute conversation features a custom content editor from MIT Technology Review and a sponsor. The Business Lab will feature technology topics of importance to enterprise decision makers and will be hosted on the United States by Laurel Ruma.
Machines are our Trust
In Machines We Trust is a podcast that discusses the automation of our world. Automation is everywhere and artificial intelligence is at its core. They make decisions based upon massive amounts of data. This includes dynamic pricing online and "reading" job application applications before humans. It's an interesting topic that should be on everyone’s radar.

Susie Armstrong
The podcast discusses many topics including artificial intelligence (AI), and the progress of AI technology. Susie Armstrong (SVP of engineering, Qualcomm) discusses the state and future of AI. She also discusses ways that women in the technology sector can improve society by breaking down stereotypes and embracing diversity.
The Turing test of MIT Technology Review
Turing test is a common test to determine how intelligent computers are. The Turing test can be tricky to do correctly. An interrogator will ask questions to the test subject. The test takes places in separate rooms. There is no physical contact between them. The responses of the test subject are then evaluated to see whether or not they can distinguish between human responses and non-human responses. If they answer one question differently from a machine, a human might fail the Turing Test.
Also, the Turing test is controversial. Some critics argue that the test does not measure highly intelligent behavior. In order for a machine to pass this test, it must appear as intelligent as a human. The machine cannot appear to be too intelligent. It would have to solve computational problems that are not possible for humans.

Qualcomm SVP of Engineering
Susie Armstrong from Qualcomm, SVP of Engineering, appeared on a podcast. She spoke about the importance diversity and women in tech. She also talked about her career, which included rising from a student intern at Qualcomm into a senior executive at Microsoft. She talked about leadership's essential role in workplace equity. The show also explored the role of women in STEM fields and the challenges that they face in their careers.
